Dr. Roman Redin received a classical medical education.
In 2008 he graduated with honors from the First Moscow State Medical University. I. M. Sechenov.
He was trained in clinical residency on the specialty "surgery" at the Department of hospital surgery of the FIRST Moscow state medical University. I. M. Sechenov at the Department of emergency surgery of the clinical hospital№ 67 the Department of plastic and reconstructive surgery, national research centre of surgery n. a. Acad. B. V. Petrovsky (head Acad. Milanov N.O.)
In 2013 she graduated from the Department of plastic surgeons, FIRST Moscow state medical University. I. M. Sechenov and successfully defended his PhD thesis "the Possibility of using flaps on perforating arteries in plastic surgery" an achieved a scientific degree of candidate of medical Sciences (PhD) under guidance of academician Nikolai Milanov.
In 2014 he passed training in the best private clinic of plastic surgery in Switzerland "Klinik Pyramide am See" under the supervision of Dr. Med Cedric A. George – founder of the clinic and Dr. PD Med Jian Farhadi - a leading specialist in Europe for reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
In 2015, successfully graduated from the international biennial certification course in reconstructive microsurgery MASTER'S DEGREE IN RECONSTRUCTIVE MICROSURGERY under the auspices of the European School of Reconstructive Microsurgery. In this course, he undertook internships in leading European hospitals: Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau – Barcelona, Institut Gustave Roussy – Paris, HUS Toolo Hospital, Helsinki.
Dr. Redin is the only Russian specialist who has an European master's degree in reconstructive microsurgery.
Dr. Redin regularly participates in national and international conferences, also as a speaker, he has over 15 published scientific papers, is an author of a monograph on microsurgical tissue autotransplantation in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Roman Romanovich is a full member of the Russian society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, associate member of the ESPRAS (European society of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery), associate member of the IPRAS (International society of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery).
